Flash flooding was reported at Altona vicinity Cancryn Jr. High School, Contant, Brookman Road and Harwood Highway.

A broad surface trough across the Caribbean basin and strong high pressure across the central Atlantic maintained a moist southeasterly flow across the region. These factors combined to produced very active weather across the local region.
