After 6 inches of rain fell in the Antlers area during the evening of the 6th, a creek rose to an estimated 12 feet above bankfull stage overnight. Early on the morning of the 7th, a vehicle was washed by the floodwaters off the county road and into the creek. The driver, a 39-year-old male, drowned.
