Event narrative

Numerous trees were reported down in the vicinity of Citrus Springs Middle School. Minor roof damage occurred to the school as well.

Wider weather episode

Daytime heating combined with a potent upper level system allowed for strong to severe storms to develop throughout the area. Many were sub-severe however a few reached severe limits causing damage to homes, trees and power lines.
