Large northwest swell generated heavy surf along west facing beaches of Central and Southern California. Along the coasts of San Luis Obispo and western Santa Barbara counties, widespread surf of 15 to 20 feet was reported. Along the beaches of Ventura and Los Angeles counties, widespread surf of 6 to 8 feet with local sets to 10 feet was reported.
