An elderly man was working on a fence and may have hit his head and fell into a creek and drown. The creek had flowing water from recent rains.
Wider weather episode
An upper level short wave trough moved through the long wave trough over the southwestern states and interacted with a dryline to produce widespread thunderstorms. Some of these storms produced large hail, damaging wind gusts, and heavy rain that led to flash flooding.
