The tide gage at Sea Camp dock on Cumberland Island measured at water level of 5.59 ft above NAVD88 datum. Minor coastal flooding typically begins at 5.0 ft.

The wider storm

A full moon on Oct. 27th produced higher than normal astronomical tides and combined with moderate onshore flow created minor coastal flooding and beach erosion around the times of high tide. Water level departures were up 0.75 ft above predictions along the Atlantic coast.
