The WeatherFlow reporting site at Block Island Jetty recorded sustained wind speeds of 43 mph. No damage was reported.

Wider weather episode

An intensifying clipper low pressure system passed north of southern New England, bringing an arctic cold front through the area. This resulted in snow across much of the region and strong, damaging winds near the coast. Unseasonably cold weather then spread across southern New England.
