Three people died from exposure to prolonged heat in the city of Philadelphia. One person was in Northeast Philadelphia the second in Fox Chase and the third in Grays Ferry.

Wider weather episode

A heat wave occurred across the region with afternoon highs in the mid 90's and overnight lows staying above 70. The prolonged nature of the heat unfortunately resulted in three deaths in the city of Philadelphia.
