Event narrative

The 116 acre Lane's Creek wildfire actually started on June 30th and was allowed to burn the entire month of July. It was damaging no property and was located on the eastern border of Idaho about 10 miles northwest of Thayne, Wyoming. An Emergency Closure Order was in effect, closing the Lau Creek Trail from the Pine Bar Campground to the confluence of Brush Creek.
