The following snow amounts fell at SNOTEL sites: Chocolate Gulch 9 inches, Dollarhide Summit 11 inches, Garfield Ranger Station 8 inches, Galena 10 inches, Hyndman 16 inches, Lost Wood Divide 26 inches, Swede Peak 12 inches, and Vienna Mine 20 inches.
A historic barn roof collapsed in Ketchum prior to the storm due to the heavy snow accumulation of snow through the entire winter and not clearing roofs.
Wider weather episode
Ten to 30 inches of snow fell in the central mountains with heavy high elevation snow in the Upper Snake River Highlands too.
