The wider storm
A series of low pressure systems brought an abundant amount of moisture to Northwest Alaska and the Bering strait. Strong winds and blizzard conditions along the coastal areas were reported.

Zone 209: Blizzard conditions and low visibility reported at the Kotzebue ASOS.
Zone 213: Blizzard conditions and low visibility reported at the Gambell AWOS. A peak wind of 58 kt (67 mph) was reported.
