The Taliaferro County 911 center reported trees blown down near a trailer park on Highway 47 at Stephan Road in Sharon.

The wider storm

A series of short waves associated with a large, persistent, upper-level trough over the eastern U.S. produced several rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms across north and central Georgia. Heavy rain resulted in a few reports of flash flooding.
