Flash flooding occured at Barrio Mamey. A car was stranded in water.

Wider weather episode

Tropical wave brought deep tropical moisture across the region. Scattered to numerous showers with thunderstorms affected the western interior and northwest sections of Puerto Rico. Another area of heavy showers affected the east section of Puerto Rico. Rainfall amounts were between three to five inches in San Sebastian, and Aguada and up to three inches were observed in Rio Grande.
