Aguada storm history

Rio Culebrinas was out of its banks, flooding most of the Coloso area and its surrounding areas. Two police officer died when a surge of water swept then when Rio Culebrinas went out of its banks.

Emergency managers reported flooding from the Rio Culebrinas affecting PR-115 in Barrio Espinar. The road was subsequently closed to the public.

Aguada Emergency Management officials reported flooding due to a small stream overflowing its banks near PR-115 at kilometer 21.5, in the vicinity of Cielo Mar Bakery. As a result, that area of PR-115 was impassable.

NWS Employee and local emergency managers reported a fallen tree affecting road PR-416 near km 6.8 in Bo. Lagunas of Aguada, or near Jose Gonzalez Ruiz elementary school. The road was impassable at the time of the event.
