Event narrative
A wildfire started by errant shots from target shooting began July 23rd 3 miles east of Bellevue and grew to 4,000 acres. The fire burned grass, mountain shrub, Douglas fir and Aspen. No structures were threatened and Muldoon Canyon had to be closed to camping and recreation activities. The fire began on July 23rd and was controlled by July 30th.
