Event narrative

One person was killed in a two vehicle accident north of Westby. Roads were snow-covered and slippery from light snow that had been falling most of the afternoon. The driver of one of the vehicles lost control in the slippery conditions, crossed the center line and collided head on with the second vehicle. The driver of the first vehicle died from injuries sustained in the accident while being transported to the hospital.
