The wider storm

Remnant moisture from tropical system Rosa was drawn north from an upper level low pressure system along California. The ample moisture aided in scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms. The stronger storms produced gusty winds, small hail, heavy rain, and one landspout tornado.
