The Clatskanie/Mist Emergency Manager reported several trees down in the area, including along highway 202. Tidewater RAWS recorded wind gusts up to 68 mph.
Wider weather episode
A low pressure system tracked northeast toward Victoria Island. The trailing cold front moved onto the coast, bringing strong southerly winds ahead of the front to the coast and the coast range.
