One to 3 inches of snow over wet roads that froze caused a fatal traffic accident on US Highway 30 near mile post 361 in McCammon. The crash occurred at 10 am. A driver lost control and crossed the center of the roadwy on snow covered roads causing a head-on collision. A 74 year old man was killed in the accident which closed the road for 3 hours.

Heavy snow fell in the Upper Snake River Highlands with snow on rain causing horrible travel in the Snake River Plain and Marsh and Arbon Highlands with one fatality reported on the roadways.
