What the National Weather Service wrote
The Tidewater RAWS (TWRO3) recorded a peak gust of 59 mph. Also, Mount Hebo, elevation 3000 feet, recorded sustined winds of 43 mph and a gust of 83 mph. There were also reports of a downed power line and power outages in Grande Ronde due to high winds.
The wider storm
A strong storm system produced strong wind gusts of 64 to 78 mph along the north Oregon Coast.
