Report of 0.9 inch of snow at an elevation of 1395 feet.

An upper trough amplified as it moved across the west coast. Widespread precipitation occurred with the trough including heavy mountain snow. In addition, freezing levels locally fell below 1000 feet across portions of Del Norte and Humboldt County resulting in numerous impacts associated with travel, tree damage, and power outages.
