In Worthington...at 403 PM EST, power lines were down on Old Main Road and at 602 PM EST, a tree and wires were down on Buffington Hill Road. In Cummington...at 403 PM EST, a tree was down across Route 122 and a 759 PM EST, a pole and wires were down on Berkshire Trail/Route 9. In Goshen at 527 PM EST, a tree and wires were down on Ball Road.

Powerful low pressure moved from eastern Pennsylvania across central Connecticut and central Massachusetts on February 7, 2020. A southerly jet of 85 to 95 mph was just above the surface at 925 mb. Damaging winds occurred across much of eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island with some damage reported farther to the west. There were widespread power outages and numerous trees down, some falling on homes and vehicles. Late in the evening, as of 11 PM, more than 66,000 residents remained without power.
