A tornado touched down briefly and damaged an unoccupied building near the intersection of CO 16 AND CO 55.
Wider weather episode
Severe thunderstorms produced several brief landspout tornadoes in Sedgwick County. One unoccupied building sustained some damage while the rest touched down in open fields. In addition, thunderstorm wind gusts up to 70 mph were measured.
