There were numerous trees and wires down, along with widespread power outages, especially in the slopes of the Berkshires. In Huntington, a tree was down on Route 112; a tree was down on County Road; and a tree was down on Goss Hill Road. In Williamsburg, a tree was down on Briar Hill Road and a tree and wires were down on Nash Road.

Tropical Storm Isaias moved from coastal Virginia eastern New York state, near the Connecticut/Massachusetts border on Tuesday, August 4. As the storm reached the New York City area, southerly winds were maximizing across southern New England, causing widespread wind damage.
