The Lone Star fire continued to burn in Yellowstone Park between Old Faithful and Shoshone Lake. The fire had grown to over 4000 acres by the end of the month. This resulted in the closure of some trails and roads in the area. Please see October Storm Data for the conclusion of the fire.
