Mesonet Sensor at the Ketchikan Airport reported wind gust of 74 mph.

A strong front with damaging southerly winds and a long fetch of moisture moved over SE Alaska on Wednesday the 23rd. A wave formed along the front and caused moisture and winds to last the longest over the southern inner channels and Hyder.
