One to locally three inches of sleet and snow was measured over mainly NW Harris County. Lesser amounts of mainly sleet fell mainly over SE portions.

An Arctic front brought extreme cold to Southeast Texas and a few bouts of winter precipitation. The first storm brought snow, sleet and/or freezing rain to different parts of the area.
