Generally 5 to 10 inches of snow fell. Some of the highest amounts included 10 inches in Ashfield, 9.2 inches in Rowe, and 6.8 inches in East Hawley.

Wider weather episode

An extremely dynamical intensifying closed mid level low tracked across southern New England Thursday night into Friday. Rain changed to snow in the Worcester Hills and Berkshires. In lower elevations rain mixed with snow for a time but did not add up to much.
