In Ashfield at 651 AM EST, numerous cars were off the road, some into the woods, due to icy road conditions. No injuries were reported.

In Ashfield, the Fire Dept. reported 100 yards of trees and power poles down on Route 112.

There were numerous power outages due to downed trees and wires, especially near the slopes of the Berkshires.

In Hawley at 415 PM EST, a tree was reported down on Route 8A. Based on surrounding data, winds were estimated to be gusting to 50 mph.

One-half inch of ice accretion was reported in Rowe. At 1044 AM in Ashfield, amateur radio operators reported wires downed and sparking on Hawley Road across from the Water Department shed.

Co-Operative Observer snowfall totals in western Franklin County reached 7.4 inches at Rowe and 5.6 inches in East Hawley.

Final snow totals ranged from 20 to 24 inches in western Franklin county. A Co-op observer in East Hawley reported 24 inches of snow.

In south Hawley there was a large tree uprooted that knocked out power and caused a small fire on Lawn St.

Snowfall of around 5.5 inches fell on Western Franklin County. At 8:05 AM EST a public report from Leyden estimated one-quarter inch of ice had fallen. There were no reports of damage, but normally this would have caused some transportation issues and possible power outages.

In Conway at 140 PM EDT, a tree was down onto a house on Hart Road. A vehicle also was damaged. In Shelburne Falls at 202 PM, a tree was down on Route 2 near an auto dealership.
