Union Pacific Railroad mesonet station LNDBRG (UP343) measured maximum wind gust 6 miles south of Albin. Additionally, AWOS station Alpha - Burns (K1AW) measured a 58 mph wind gust 9 miles south-southeast of Gun Barrel.

Wider weather episode

Widespread high winds across much of southeast and south-central Wyoming resulted in extended road closures for light, high-profile vehicles. Many sensors along Interstate 80 in the North Snowy Range Foothills recorded wind gusts 60 to 80 mph.
