Most observation sites in eastern Laramie County reported strong wind gusts between 58 to 71 MPH. Peak gust of 71 MPH occurred at the Burns AWOS site and the WYDOT site at Gun Barrel.

Peak wind gust of 63 MPH reported at Gun Barrel WYDOT site.

A few locations reported wind gusts over 58 MPH, mainly northeast of Cheyenne at the Gun Barrel WYDOT site. They also reported the peak wind gust in the zone.

AWOS sensor Alpha, northwest of Pine Bluffs Wyoming, reported average sustained winds of 43 mph for over 1 hour.

Peak gust of 69 mph occurred at the Gun Barrel (KGUN) WYDOT site 7 miles south-southwest of Meriden at 9:36 AM on February 25th. Multiple other gusts between 60 and 65 mph were reported in this zone.

Squall like conditions were reported in Pine Bluffs, WY around 4:05 PM MST. Near-zero visibility, 25 MPH wind gusts, a half inch of snow, and icy roads were reported with the squall.
