Event narrative
High winds were reported along the northern Oregon coast with max sustained winds of 40 to 50 mph and gusts up to 60 to 70 mph. Power outages were also reported.
Wider weather episode
A strong Pacific front caused high winds along the coast and coast range, as well as strong winds through the Willamette Valley. Several reports of downed trees and branches as well as power outages for thousands of customers.
