The Danbury Airport ASOS reported 0.14 inches of flat ice accretion. Other ice reports further south outside of Northern Fairfield were far less and on the order of only 0.02 or less of ice accretion.

Wider weather episode

A cold front which behaved like an anafront as the the upper level flow was parallel to the front brought advisory level freezing rain to portions of the area. The highest

freezing rain reports were under 0.15 inches (flat).
