A 47 year old male from Georgia drowned in a rip current near the 3800 block of Cape San Blas Road.
Several swimmers were caught by a rip current at the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park and taken 150 to 200 yards from shore. One 14 year old boy drowned as a result.
Three men became trapped in a rip current off St. Joseph State Park. All three were pulled from the water. Two were transported to area hospitals and one of those was unable to be revived.
