Ping pong hail near Highway 44 and Cherry avenue. Report relayed by emergency management.

Wind gusts up to 60 mph and nickel sized hail. This occurred along a two to three mile wide area centered on this location.

Widespread rainfall of 1 to 2 inches over the past week helped to end the Severe Drought conditions across Guthrie County.

Prolong dryness this fall along with above normal temperatures has led to the expansion of Severe Drought conditions into Guthrie County.

Rainfall in the middle and later portion of March helped to improve hydrologic conditions across Guthrie county by the end of the month with severe drought ending in the county.

Above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation allowed severe drought conditions to persist across Guthrie county.

Severe drought persisted in Guthrie county during January with temperatures and precipitation above normal. Extreme drought was no longer observed in the county by the end of January.

Severe to extreme drought conditions remained across Guthrie county in December with above normal temperatures. Rainfall was above normal but did little to alleviate drought conditions, particularly longer term deficits.

Severe drought conditions persisted across Guthrie county for the duration of November given lack of rain and above normal temperatures.

Severe drought conditons maintained a presence in Guthrie county during the month of October. Temperatures remained above normal during the month with near normal rainfall although longer range precipitation remains well below normal.

Severe drought persisted in portions of Guthrie county during September given the above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation.

Severe Drought expanded into Guthrie county as hot temperatures and low precipitation persisted late in August.

Dime to nickel sized hail.

One person conducting a controlled burn was severely injured when the fire became uncontrolled. The fire quickly spread and engulfed the individual who was using a tractor to stop further spread of the fire.
