CoCoRaHS observer reported on and off freezing drizzle with only a slight accumulation of ice.

Between 3-5 inches of snow fell across the county. CoCoRaHS observers measured 5 inches of snow in Alexandria and 5 inches in Brandon. Additionally, the ASOS station located at Chandler Field reported less than one-quarter mile of visibility due to falling snow.

This was a very isolated wind gust with no reported damage associated with it. The storm collapsed and dumped what was left of its core over KAXN where the 69 mph gust was measured.

ASOS station KAXN recorded a 59 mph wind gust as a thunderstorm passed through Alexandria MN.

An estimated 8 to 13 inches of snow fall across the county, with the bulk of the snow falling on April 2nd. The highest reported snowfall total was 13.0 inches 2 miles SW of Alexandria.

Several hours of light freezing rain resulted in accumulations around 0.1 to 0.2 inches of flat ice across the county. Additional snow accumulations around up to 1 inch fell on top of the ice resulted in hazardous travel conditions Saturday into Sunday.

An estimated 3 to 6 inches of snow fell across the county with the highest amounts near Glenwood. Frequent gusts over 45 mph and heavy snowfall rates resulted in several hours of 1/2 mile visibility or less. These conditions resulted in hazardous travel, including along I-94.

Six to seven inches of snow was measured across the county. The highest observation was 6.8 inches in Brandon, MN.

A quick burst of heavy snow brought a band of up to 0.5 inches, and reduced visibilities to 1/4 mile near I-94 and US HWY 59.
