The CoCoRaHS observer 4 miles south of Troy measured 1.2 inches of snow. Two semis crashed at 3:40 in the morning in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Tipp City. A passenger in one of the trucks died (indirect) as a result of the crash.

Water rescues were being performed across the county, but especially in the Troy and Tipp City areas for people being trapped in cars stranded by flash flooding. The flash flooding was caused by heavy rainfall.
Strong winds of 40 to 50 miles per hour were sustained for several hours. Gusts over 60 mph were common. Widespread damage occurred across the region, from trees being blown down on powerlines, to significant crop losses and structural damage.

The observer southwest of Piqua measured 6.4 inches of snow. A spotter north of Troy measured 5.5 inches. Another spotter in Troy measured 5.3 inches, and the bulk of observations across the county indicated that between 3.5 and 5 inches had fallen.
