High water was reported on FM 219 west of Highway 281, at FM 1602 three miles east of Highway 281, and on 5th Street in Hico. The water was several feet deep. County Commissioners estimated road damage at $2 million.

FM 1602 between Highway 281 and Highway 22 was flooded northeast of Hamilton, and Highway 218 was flooded between Hamilton and Pottsville. County Commissioners estimated road damage around $2 million.

The thunderstorms that produced the hail damage in Erath County moved across parts of Hamilton County, the Hico area having the worst damage, estimated at around 2 million dollars.

KMNZ measured a peak wind gust of 63 mph at 2:23 pm and 3:39 pm. 59 MPH wind gusts were measured at 1:55 PM and 2:35 PM. Sustained wind speeds between 40 to 47 mph occurred from 12:15 pm through 4:15 pm.

Wind Chills as low at 10 degrees occurred a few more nights across parts of the region.
