An elderly woman who suffered from dementia succumbed to the elements as she left her home in the middle of the night and was exposed to temperatures in the teens. Her body was discovered within 50 yards of her home on 400 Dreamland Avenue in Crosby.

Wind collapsed the side of an oil storage tank in Deer Park. As a result, a scaffolding within the interior of this tank holding two men toppled killing one of these men.
