Shortly before 4 p.m., a UDOT Traffic social media post indicated that U.S. 89 in Kane County was closed in both directions at milepost 70, about five miles north of Kanab, because of road conditions and a head-on collision.

A combination of COOP and CoCoRaHS observer reports included snowfall amounts of 9.8 inches in Kodachrome Basin State Park, 11.6 inches in Boulder, and 15.5 inches in Henrieville.

A snowfall accumulation of 6.5 inches was observed at Hildale. An accumulation of 5.5 inches with 0.52 inches of snow water equivalent was observed at Kanab.
