Localized torrential rainfall from 2 to 5 inches affected portions of Caledonia County during the afternoon/early evening of July 10, 2025, particularly in the West Burke area. Several reports of road/culvert washouts were received via social media and news reports.

Dangerous heat across the region for both June 23rd and 24th with daytime temperatures in the mid to upper 90s and dewpoints in the 70s creating heat index values between 100 and 110.

A highly elevation dependent snowfall with 2 to 4 inches in the valleys and 4 to 8 + inches at elevations above 1200-1500 feet in far western sections. This led to travel and power disruptions.
