This winter storm brought between 7 and 9 inches of snowfall to Crawford County over the course of November 29th and 30th. The highest snowfall report in the county was in Eastman where 8.5 inches was observed.
Tornado EF0 Tornado
This EF-0 tornado began in a corn field northwest of Mount Sterling with drone footage capturing the swirling corn pattern. The tornado continued southeast damaging a farm outbuilding and a few buildings in town before dissipating.

Dangerously cold wind chills began on the evening of the 20th and continued through noon on the 21st in Crawford County where values dropped to around 30 to 40 degrees below zero. The coldest observed wind chill in the county was 40 degrees below zero in Steuben, WI.

Anomalously warm air temperatures and high humidity allowed the maximum heat index to reach between 106 and 109 degrees across Crawford County on August 26th. The heat index reached 109 degrees at the automated weather observation station in Prairie Du Chien.
