Event narrative
This tornado began just west of Jack Warner Road, where it snapped a few trees and caused damage to the roof of a home along with a shed. The tornado continued northeast across Boon Road and caused extensive damage to a gas station. A tree fell on a house at this location. The tornado continued northeast across J.C. Sullivan Road and snapped a few more trees and damaged a shed. The tornado continued across Highway 14, before it ended just northeast of Highway 14 with a few more snapped trees. The maximum winds were 110 mph.

A potent weather system moved across the region on January 5th and produced a round of severe storms across the region into the early morning hours of the 6th. These storms produced damaging winds and tornadoes.
