Event narrative
Numerous large trees, power lines, and large tree limbs were blown down around Cleveland, with streets blocked. An outbuilding was blown down at the intersection of Crosby and McCain.
Wider weather episode
Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms developed across portions of Mississippi during the afternoon of May 25th before a west-east oriented squall line developed and spread southward overnight. Another squall line moved through on the 26th as a cold front moved east. Storms produced wind damage and hail.
