A few trees and power lines were blown down across the northern and northeastern ports of Scott County.

Wider weather episode

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms developed across portions of Mississippi during the afternoon of May 25th before a west-east oriented squall line developed and spread southward overnight. Another squall line moved through on the 26th as a cold front moved east. Storms produced wind damage and hail.
