Less than one inch of sleet and snow fell. A traffic accident involving a tour bus occurred on a slippery bridge resulting in two deaths.
Heavy rain caused a motorist's vehicle to hydroplane. The vehicle went off the road and flipped on Interstate 55 near the Desoto County Welcome Center, outside of Hernando. The driver was killed.
Several trees were knocked down. One tree fell on a car killing the driver.
