Lake effect snow bands reached eastern Greene County and let to snowfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches with the highest totals in the higher terrain of the Eastern Catskills courtesy of upslope enhancement.

Snow Squall. A local highway webcam showed less than one quarter of a mile visibility with a nearby wind gust of 32 mph south of Westerlo.

Snow squall. One inch snowfall accumulation occurred near Catskill from a passing snow squall.

Car accidents were reported in the villages of Catskill and Athens due to light freezing rain. This included the elevated sections of Route 23 and the New York State Thruway near exit 21. The Rip Van Winkle Bridge was also reported icy.
