A person was struck by lightning in Barrio Aceituna of Moca while trimming his home backyard during a thunderstorm.

Heavy rainfall caused Quebrada Los Muertos to overflow its banks, leading to flooding across PR-444 in Bo. Cuchillas. Video evidence shows water flowing over the roadway while at least one vehicle was observed crossing through the floodwaters.

Following heavy rains earlier in the afternoon, a landslide occurred along PR-4444 at km 1.0 in Barrio Cuchillas, Sector Loperena. Local authorities reported debris covering the roadway, prompting a temporary closure. Barricades and caution tape were placed to restrict traffic.

The 911 Call Center reported three fallen electrical poles obstructing the roadway at kilometer 4.7 on PR-420 in Barrio Plata, Moca. The incident is preventing residents from exiting the area; however, there are no reports of individuals trapped or injured at this time.

Due to strong thunderstorms, Moca's emergency management reported a fallen tree on Road 444, near the baseball field, close to Carretera Nieves.

Strong thunderstorms developed in the northwest quadrant, causing flooding in the western Municipalities. A social media report showed a river flooding along road PR-125, kilometer 10.1, in Barrio Capa, Moca, towards Anasco.

An emergency manager from Moca called to inform us that there was a landslide in PR-495, km 3.5 (Cerro Gordo community). They informed that the landslide got close to a residence but did not reach it.

Social media reports indicated strong winds due to thunderstorms in Barrio Maria, Sector Ana L. Prez interior, PR-110 km 9.1. Some of the damage includes plantain trees and other smaller plants.

Emergency managers reported flooding at Sector Los Cocos in Barrio Marias in Moca due to excessive rainfall. Rio Culebrinas, nearby, was also out of its banks. Some low-water crossings were impassable.

Sector La Cruz and El Coco at road 110 in the municipality of Moca were flooded due to Culebrinas River out of its banks. The USGS sensor indicated the river rose to a stage of 28.52 feet, exceeding the flood stage of 24 feet at Highway 404 near Moca.
