Two semi trucks were blown over at the rest stop on Highway 287 south of Dumas.

The mesonet site located three miles southeast of Dumas measured two severe wind gusts in consecutive minutes. The first was 71mph at 2312 CDT and the second was 61mph at 2313CDT.

A trained spotter estimated wind gusts at the leading edge of a line of storms to be around 65mph.

A supercell thunderstorm tracked across Dumas, producing hail up to tennis ball size. Windows were blown out of patrol vehicles due to the hail.

During this 30 minute span, numerous wind gusts in excess of 58 mph occurred at the mesonet located three miles east of Dumas. A wind gust of 65 mph was the peak at 1301 CST.

The southeastern corner of Moore County near Lake Meredith received upwards of 1.5 of snow.

Each observation site had dozens of high wind gusts from 58 mph to 78 mph, with the highest concentration of high wind gusts between 0930CDT to 1330CDT. Semi-truck overturned on US Highway 287 3 miles south of Dumas.

Multiple ground stations measured high wind gusts, up to 75 mph, somewhat continuously for approximately 7 hours.

Several auto accidents. Many were reported along U.S.HWY 287 north of Dumas. Freezing drizzle and very little snow.

The southeastern third of Moore County was part of the much larger swath of snow to impact the Texas Panhandle with a total of 6 to 8. The central part of the county received 4 to 6 of snow while the northwestern corner tapered off to around an inch.

Light snow fell across the county on the morning of the 5th with accumulations just over half an inch but under one inch.

This wind gust was in association with the outflow boundary moving through the area.

This gust was from decaying thunderstorms, not so much from a strong/severe storm that had a strong updraft. This gust is assumed to be from rain falling through a dry low level layer creating cooling and sinking air.

A three inch diameter tree limb was snapped. A couple of dead or diseased trees were uprooted. One of these trees fell on and damaged a resident's chain link fence.

Quarter to half dollar size hail fell in Sunray.

The mesonet station located 3 miles southeast of Dumas measured a wind gust of 58 mph at 1442CDT.

Hail up to penny size fell to the north of the main hail core of the storm.

The mesonet located at 3 SE Dumas measured multiple wind gusts between 58 and 60 mph during this time period.

Multiple wind gusts in the 58 to 65 mph range were measured by a couple of different mesonets in the county during this time.

A couple of mesonet stations and an AWOS located at the Dumas airport measured wind gusts in excess of 58 mph across the county during this time. The peak gust measured was 70 mph, measured by the mesonet 3 miles SE of Dumas at 1119CST.

A wildland grass fire occurred in southeast Moore County near CIG Road and Hagy Road. The cause of the fire is not known. This fire burned an estimated 4012 acres on private property. Estimated Cost in resources was 9,271.50.

Northwestern Moore County observed three to four inches of snow. In addition locations north and west of Dumas observed two to three inches of snow, with the remainder of the county seeing one to two inches of snow.

The automated weather observing station located three miles west of Dumas measured a wind gust of 60mph at 1635CST, and the mesonet site located three miles southeast of Dumas measured a wind gust of 61mph at 1616CST.
