A mesonet 4 miles NW of Wintergreen measured a peak wind gust of 68 mph at 1249 LST (149 PM EDT).

A mesonet at Afton Mountain measured a peak wind gust of 62 mph at 1730LST.

Trained spotters reported a coating to an inch or snow/sleet accumulation and a coating to a tenth of an inch of ice.

NPS reported significant ice accretion resulting in a significant number of downed trees throughout Shenandoah National Park. The park remained closed for nearly a week.
